Hypnosis Training Feedback!

Hi Cal,

I was a music teacher for 25 years before I changed careers. I recognize good teachers, excellent teachers and bad teachers. You have great skill and talent as a teacher, a quality I deeply respect and appreciate because one can really know their subject but not be able to teach. You are an excellent, excellent teacher... a rare thing indeed.

I think the way you have created a clear structure and protocol for treatment and the way you have woven the best of what we know about human behavior, how to help our clients discover it and understand it in themselves, and how to incorporate those insights into our hypnotherapy is brilliant.

Thank you again. I know there are many who came through [name of California school removed] who felt lost and confused. I fought my way through it, picking up truer and more effective techniques and then found you.

Trying to duplicate Milton Erickson is too hard and very hit or miss for someone who is not Milton Erickson. NLP is very effective but still misses the mark of cause. 5-PATH® addresses the important issues that are usually not even discovered: the causes, the reasons for the errant behavior. Finding: the ISE [Initial Sensitizing Event] and SSE's [Subsequent Sensitizing Events], the understanding of how our feelings are barometers of what we need, and neutralizing those effects are the meat. Then the job of helping the client to modify his behavior is a cinch.

My greatest frustration has been that hypnosis only works sometimes if you don't get depth and you don't deal with cause. Like you [in your book The Secret Language of Feelings when you were] asking the professors and doctors about what are emotions for? [and, they had no clue] ", everybody seems to blink and ignore the elephant in the living room. [Since taking your DVD course] I've been feeling like the kid in the Emperor's New Clothes. "But the King is naked!" I'll bet you can relate to that feeling.

Use everything and anything I've said. You deserve the recognition.

Hello Mr. Banyan,

I have completed your 5-Path certification through your DVD course. All I have to say is congratulations on an excellent course. Since I have been using 5-Path (just recently) I have had better responses from my clients. Your course is very well structured and easy to follow and understand. Being a trainer in verbal and physical intervention techniques, I really appreciate a well structured and well delivered course or training session. I went through all 10 DVDs in order to complete the certification. Now, I am going over them again and, as I do, I still learn nuances that I had missed the first time around. I really enjoy having the DVDs because I can refer to them anytime I need or want to.

I am also reading your book "Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy". Again, you have done a great job. I enjoy reading it as I review the DVD program. It is clear and concise. Very easy to understand and apply. By the way, if you are ever interested in translating your book into French...

When I did Cal's class in June 2002, I thought that was the best hypnotherapy certification that one could do if you are interested in 'real' work with clients. I could say I was more than satisfied with the knowledge, skills and confidence gained from that class.

But I was saddened by the fact that I just couldn't review the class again if I wanted to, because Cal lives so far away. So the only way was to read his book "Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy" and review often his class notes.

But when he announced that he was going to launch the DVD Training Set, I immediately knew that I must get my hands on a copy. I did not regret it at all, as upon going through it, I noticed many more things that I have consciously forgotten since then. It not only poses as a good source of review but also as a way to continue with my education especially now that I have embarked on doing professional work with clients.

Of course going through the DVDs itself is a trance as I was instantly transported back to that very class in 2002. So, my conclusion, you will learn a lot more than you realize from going through the set of DVDs, as I am amazed even now, how much I have missed from the class back then!

This ends my review for the DVD set. Thank you again Cal, for coming out with the DVDs, I for one am benefiting from it every time I review it.

Hi Cal,

You don't know me, but hopefully we can meet at the NGH Convention this summer. I just finished your Video training of 5-PATH and I had to write to say THANK YOU!!!

I have been a hypnotherapist for a few years here in New York City and Westchester County, but I can't believe how much more powerful your theory is, and it works. I used to do very long sessions, and long inductions. No longer....Thank you for giving me time back to actually do the work that needs to be done.

And once again thank you so much for your genuine teaching ability, patience, books, and knowledge that you so readily share with us all.
